115-113 was not fair. UD was the correct result, but those cards were definitely ready for cooking in the event the fight was close.

masterful performance by Usyk. Hats off to Joshua...fought to the end and have nothing bad to say. I think Usyk can beat Wilder with ease. Also think he will beat Fury. SO....when you look at Usyk...you are looking at the future undisputed heavyweight champion.

Even though I backed Usyk, I do think Joshua could win the rematch...just not with his current fearful mentality he's shown in the past 3 fights.

We both know he was sat there tonight in his "A n t h o n y J o s h u a" branded getup from head to toe, waving his Union Jack flag he bought off eBay and screaming in a hitch pitched voice "AJ, AJ, AJ"...

Now he's sitting on the bog experiencing some serious gastrointestinal distress

What a great fight that was. Thought Joshua boxed well in the first 8 rounds although I had Usyk up. He was always a threat with that right hand, however, Usyk upped the work rate and punch output in the last 4 especially. Joshua wilted from the constant pressure from the feints and jab and superb footwork. Usyk drowned him.

I thought Joshua's size and reach would edge this but I was completely wrong. Absolutely loved it.

Usyk was hurting him even in the first half.

Match room fc saying he's gonna bulk up and bully usyk in the rematch but he'll just gas earlier.

Dullian shyte with his delusional opinions lmao.

    Fury absolutely destroys AJ.

quite possibly. But then he may have just been levelling the playing field as Usyk’s output and non stop movement is unnatural. Especially given he has made the step up from CW to HW with not one ounce of diminishing athleticism.

Just got back from work and got caught up in the round by round, was able to get in here without seeing any spoilers. Heart was racing reading the posts lmao.

As it became clear by peoples posts that Usyk was outclassing AJ, I started dreading a robbery, and started just rooting for a stoppage either way so we didnt have to go to the cards lol. I was near certain they would rob Usyk.

Refreshingly, it appears no robbery today.

Hats off to Usyk, and a big salute. Its clear I underestimated him at heavyweight. I mistakingly thought that this thicker, slightly slower version would find himself having to keep his hands at home more due to AJ's power and explosiveness. I actually expected this fight to resemble a more cumbersome, less skilled version of Lopez vs Loma, where the more skilled fighter loses the early rounds due to the threat of his bigger, younger opponent, and then probably takes over late but loses the decision.

However, sounds like Usyk was simply too good, and perhaps I have AJ overrated. I will have to watch the fight because I dont understand how someone as explosive as AJ would let Usyk close the gap on him early on. I can understand when he starts to gas, Usyk starting to take over.... but early? I'll have to watch it.

Unless Hearn is able to really manipulate things, this may very well be the last we see of AJ as a champion. It sounds unlikely that a rematch would go any different with Usyk, and hes not beating Fury. Theoretically he could wait Usyk out and try to pick up a belt from whoever winds up beating Usyk or when Usyk retires and gives up the belt, but AJ doesnt seem the type to be fighting on much longer. So it wont surpise me if this is the end of AJ the Champion.

It will be very interesting to see how Usyks reign goes. As much as I thought AJ would beat him, there was always a case to make for Usyk winning the fight. I just dont see it with Fury. In fact, I feel the fight is one sided enough that it almost dampens my anticipation for it. However, it will be interesting to see Usyk try, will be interesting to see the fight mechanics of how those two mesh, and if hes able to actually pull it off.... historic.

Anyways, a big salute once again to the new heavyweight champion of the world, and boxing couldnt ask for a better representative for our sport than Usyk .

I cant wait for Usyks next fight, and I hope he continues to improve as he continues to adjust to carrying this weight.

    Salute.

Bad night for British Boxing, but a good night for Boxing in general. The best man won and he did it in style.

That's right, I forgot about the 115-113 - my bad. But the 2 others are wide enough to be more than legitimate imo.
