I was at that fight. You could feel the wind off of Wilder's punches 20 rows back

Oh, without a doubt, AJ's not evolved into the complete fighter that he potentially could have been. It's all pretty frustrating really.

We've seen him try to make some changes, but not utilising fully what he's (was) naturally good at. And that's a front foot aggressive fighter. That version of AJ seems long gone now.

When I think of the AJ that fought Klitschko compared to the version that fought Franklin & Helenius, it's really like two different men and fighting styles, and different yet again when he fought Usyk.

His lack of self confidence and strong self belief is the obvious crux of the matter, and I think him now fighting different styles is just a poor workaround for what is now a deep rooted problem.

Why did Joshua leave the ring? Did he come back for the winner announcement?

It was a great KO from AJ and that’s all I can say.

It’s a mental thing. Mentally is very fragile.
I don’t think he liked the place he had to go to, to overcome Wlad, he’s not been the same since then. It was Hardly noticeable until the Ruiz loss which took his soul.

He knows he has the chin of a middleweight and everytime his backs against the wall he looks like he’s on the verge of tears.
I don’t get any impression from him he enjoys boxing or fighting.

I’d be very surprised if he beats Wilder.

Also that was a very poor performance from AJ other than his KO on the glass chin.

AJ from 6 years ago would have stopped this guy inside 3 rounds. If you think that was a display of slowing breaking down a fighter then that’s your own crazy opinion.
