Hatton is circling warily, jabbing through Ansell's gloves, tapping on his nose. Ansell doing lots of ducking and undulating with his feet planted, watching Hatton. Quick step-around jabs by Hatton. Both keeping a responsible defense but not more than a shot or two being thrown in succession yet. Lots of lateral movement by Hatton, and he begins to sprinkle in short fast combos. Lots of watching by Ansell. He tries cuffing the back of the neck as Hatton dives in with a body jab and they briefly tie up, pushing apart with no intervention by Sean McAvoy required. Hatton is caught out with a reach-up left hook across the cheek delivered off Ansell's hip while Hatton clearly believed they were about to clinch. He blinks but appears unhurt. Hatton going high to low with the jab, threading between Ansell's wrists or poking below his elbows.

I love this expression.

 

Bit more body work from Campbell. Still grazed now and then by high left hooks during incautious or inattentive moments, but Ansell doing little to nothing for the most part.

20-18 Hatton

 

That's overboard. He's slightly above-average.

 

Sure he reads the odd issue on the carriageway.

 

This honestly should've been the headliner of the YouTube prelims show, not on the main card.

 

Ansell able to redden Hatton's nose and around his mouth with the odd ambush jab, coiled up like a serpent, but getting vastly outworked. Hatton moving nonstop, occasionally darting in to deposit some quick light shots. A few cheeky uppercuts but doesn't plant his feet so not a lot on them.
