    Long clinch to start. They separate and both move around the middle of the ring, twitchy. Helenius is driven into the ropes by a 1-2 and boomerangs into Joshua, holding. Helenius is daring to carry his left hand low while stalking Joshua, showing that he isn't as concerned with his power as Joshua might have hoped. Helenius deflects a Joshua jab off his left arm and lands a right on the chest. Then another on the belt line. Joshua with a jab on the bottom lip. Helenius ducking and weaving on the outside, keeping a careful watch on Joshua, sizing him up for a 1-2. Joshua beats him to the punch wih a dart-in right on the body. Helenius is stepping to Joshua, showing a rolling jab-feint. Joshua tries a right up top but Helenius dodges stepping outside. Jabs into the guard by Helenius, then a right hand up top (also blocked) followed by a grazing left hook on the midsection.

    The most elite, absolute highest level of boxing chess matches. A bout on a knife edge since Round 1 with tension previously unseen in a British ring. Both boxers walking the most precarious of tightropes. One minor mistake, and their future lies in tatters. I literally cannot watch.

    Joshua coming up to a potential retirement fight after this, and Bellew still makes out he’s inexperienced?

    Understand he hasn’t had 400 amateur fights but he won the frigging olympics 11 years ago ffs

    Joshua picking up the aggression. Helenius is hurt early but rides it out and holds, then gains confidence about midway into the round, scoring a couple of semi-flush right hands up close. Joshua leaps up with an RJJ gazelle hook before gliding into a clinch. Helenius is jabbing at the face as Joshua reaches below to jab him in the stomach. Helenius has a bloodied nose. Joshua is boxing, "being cute" as the commenatators say. Sudden hook by Joshua stuns Helenius.
