Bakole would be a proper tough sell after this, and after promising Wilder for months. And there’s a high risk it ends in disaster. Helenius fight on its merit wouldn’t draw flies and caused the crowd to boo AJ at home.

Promotionally it’s easier to sell “AJ risking it all against the greatest ever puncher” and rolling the dice at that level.

Would enjoy Bakole getting a shot in his adopted home though, stick it at the Hydro! With the right promotion drunk Scots (like me) will buy into anything

 

Would be a great fight next and is the right fight at the right time for both.

All he cares about is PPV Loot now and looks like he has gave up any aspirations of winning belts unless Charles Martin picks up a vacant IBO belt when Usyk retires.

Ah Bellew, that fountain of all knowledge who last night made a glaring mistake when him and Haye were talking about Lewis after the AJ fight. For anybody that didn’t see this Bellew was saying Lewis changed his more aggressive style after being stopped by McCall ( which is correct) but Haye reminded him when he fought Golota and absolutely blew him away in the 1st round before Bellew implied that was before the McCall fight
I fully expected Haye to remind him of that straight after but he didn’t.

 

Reckon for that massive fight last weekend, RH must have had at least a 16 week training camp?
