On a few days notice, a very good replacement.

Just a friendly reminder to all the AJ fans who think he is entitled to take the easy options because he's 'rebuilding'...
He lost on points to Usyk and didn't even get KD'd.
People are acting like this is Wilder getting stopped by Fury or some other bad KO.
There is no excuse for the last three opponents AJ has hand-picked.
In this case Helenius is only one pseudo-fight distant from a bad KO, and it's AJ who needs rebuilding?
    What?

So Wilder and Joshua will have a common opponent. Hard to beat Wilders result.

Terrible post. You say AJ is a disgrace for who he fights since the Usyk defeat and instead should be more like Wilder. U wot mate? Wilder literally fought the same man.

I assume you did not see that fight? Helenius quickly knocked out a journeyman at a Medieval Times and then treated him after the fight to chicken fingers with extra ketchup.

That fight was a wasted training camp for Helenius. The thing that gives me pause here is that he actually may *not* have trained, of course not realizing that Joshua was on deck. In the end it probably won't matter: Big Rob is going to get starched again for a few million.

They already have two, Wilder bested him with KO1 win over Breazeale, while AJ bested him in dispatching Molina 6 rounds quicker.

I´ve always wondered why the result of Helenius-Kownacki II was later changed to a TKO win for Helenius. In the video you can clearly see the referee disqualifying Kownacki for repeated low blows (which seemingly had no effect on Helenius)

Logically Joshua fighting Helenius now means he is fighting Wilder next. That might be wishful thinking.

If Joshua doesn't knock him out in 2 rounds then Wilder and his fans will be insulting Joshua saying he sucks.

Joshua will walk through Helenius, but he will not get to the fight with Wilder, that fight should have happened 5 years ago, it was simply not meant to happen.

I thought a multiple-opponent night might've been set up for AJ, 5 opponents in a row like Big George Foreman did in Toronto.

Joshua could've fought something like Chisora, Breazeale, Tyson, Holyfield & Lewis :D

There is plenty of precedent. Much less in modern times, obviously, but it happens occasionally.

It wasn't like he went a grueling twelve with Mielonen.

All-Finnish beef already ruined him. 6'3, 260lbs of wear and tear one week prior AJ picking the bones.
