Anthony Peterson better bring his A Game

Why??? Although I pick Anthony by UD, Isquierdo might pull an upset tonight.

 

It's a Close fight 95-94 score. Awful is when a P4P top 5 lost is a lopsided Fashion like Pac-MAB 1.

 

I like AP, good combination puncher, well conditioned, and focused. But a young Shane Mosley he's not.

 

No awfull is when a undefeated fighter losses to a washed up bum, who is 2 divisions above his prime weight. That qualifies as an AWFULL loss. I saw Izquierdo beat Cassal but Cassal isn't much either.

 

I saw Isquierdo beat Casal as well but I thought Casal looked painfully average. Peterson is a very good looking prospect and I'd expect him to do a number on Isquierdo tonight. Both Peterson's look to have really good futures ahead of them.

 

Didn't see the fight, but Peterson was supposed to have looked impressive against a fighter who provided stern opposition. It's almost time to see how he'd fare against a Top flght contender, methinks.

 

I told you guys...Isquerdo will make it hard for AP. I didn't see the fight yet, but read news about it. I taped instead the FNF replay.

 

Isquerdo came to fight but was simply outgunned. I thought Peterson started a bit slow and could have been more active. After a few rounds he picked up the pace some, countered more effectivly, and started making openings instead of being more squared up. Overall he looked good against a guy who came to win, not just lay down. Still, Isquerdo was a couple notches below Peterson so the fact he looked good isn't too surprising. Peterson needs to step up some. A lot of good lightweights to choose from. I'd like to see him in with fighters like Cherry, Jiminez, Huerta, Diamond and such. He's not quite ready for the best in the division but soon he will be.
