He only stopped him because of a freak hand injury he obtained while blocking a punch. It was a good fight though, I'll give you that.

I'm used to Pacman pace. He's definitely slow pace fighter. I watched Boxing to be entertained. Not tonight.

Pace? Ok, I can see that. I thought you were referring to handspeed.

Either way....Bobby Pacquiao didn't "stop" him early.

Trejo is only landing at a 17% clip. Peterson's defense has been pretty good this fight.

I thought those announcers were really rough on Peterson. All night long they were criticizing him, saying he wasn't giving his all. Some guys fight down to their level of opponent, some guys have off nights and some guys just don't get stopped (Trejo has never been stopped). Even though Peterson was pitching a shutout on the scorecards, the announcers just couldn't have anything positive to say about Peterson.

I think the commentators are right.Peterson lacks that certain something or at least tonight.

Definetly not ready for a top 10 opponent.

    I don't know....I have the sound off:deal

Peterson has put on better performances. He has all the tools. I think he has some things to work on to get to the next level.
