Anthony Sims Jr. born 02/23/1995 is a 6'1 Light Heavyweight with a 16-0 15 KO's record. Born in and fighting out of Plainfield, Indiana. In my never humble opinion, I think Anthony is perhaps one of the best prospects the United States has to offer, and evidently Eddie Hearn thinks so as well, since he recently snatched him up and sign him to Matchroom Sports. And thank God, since he was going nowhere fast with Don King, who he signed with initially after turning pro in 2016. He comes from Royal Blood in Boxing, he's the cousin of one of the most controversial figures in the sport, Mr. Floyd Mayweather Jr. himself, and skillwise, I see a few similarities. He's incredibly fast, pretty damn slick at times, defensively pretty sound, has a sharp authoritative jab, and throws some genuinely beautiful combinations, and a wickedly vicious left hook, but the one thing I like the most is... he fights more like Pretty Boy Floyd than Money May. He's quite aggressive, but brings intelligent effective aggression, working behind that jab, he cuts the ring off well and lands from unique angles with with wide array of punches in his arsenal. He had a fairly decent amateur career racking up 188 wins with only 10 losses, and in the process picked up 10 National titles. On top of all of that, he comes across as a sweet guy, he's charismatic and slightly boast, but soft spoken and doesn't come across as pompous, and he's a handsome kid, he has the potential to be a breakout star as long as he's not packing glass. I like the way this kid thinks. And yeah its pretty good, I saw about half of it a few days ago when I was contemplating doing this thread, by the way, this used to be the Chebotarev-Maciel thread, don't freak out, the like you saw from you was for the Gaybatulla post, you're not seeing things.
