Love to see that fight but don't think we will. I'd take Rhodes UD. If it is done hope it's a good Rhodes, not like Murray Thaxton.
Small. Rhodes has little movement these days, he stood in the pocket with Moore. It worked in the end after some dodgy moments because Moore lost some steam, but Small can fight in the pocket all day with his defence and counterpunching judging by his fight with Hall.
Great match! Small could box rings around the slowing Rhodes for a good few rounds but you only have to look at Pryce vs Small for the blueprint for a Rhodes stoppage. Would love to see this fight happen. Small has the potential to be very good IMO. And I feel that Rhodes has been there for the taking in each of fights in recent times. He takes far too many big shots. I think I'd go with the more active Small over 12/late stoppage though you can't rule out a Rhodes stoppage later on either based on the Pryce fight.
Rhodes all day for me. I think he is better all round technically, makes less mistakes and is more experienced, Small is awkward but so is Rhodes. I think for much if the fight they would counter each other out, i do not think itd be a great watch but i would pick Ryan to win on pts. I think Ryan Rhodes is looking at bigger and better fights than Anthony Small tbh.
