Who do you think takes this then for the British and commonwealth titles? I've only seen McDonagh once and i wasn't impressed, gotta go with Small easy UD. Also what do you think are the chances of Small vs Rhodes Being re-scheduled?
Not seen a lot of McDonagh either, so I'd have to go with Small on this one. With regards to the Rhodes fight, I was disappointed that got called off - it was scheduled for the Hayemaker bill in Liverpool back in March - and the press conference was a bit fierce, with Small doing his best to wind Rhodes up. Seemed like there was a lot of ill-feeling towards each other. The fight seems to make more sense now with the European, British and Commonwealth belts at stake, but I'm not sure Rhodes will want to risk his chance at a world title shot
If McDonagh has worked on his stamina since the Alexander fight then I can see him running rings around Small.
Bit of a bizarre scene at the press conference, for anyone who hasn't seen it... http://www.brandhatton.com/VideoNews/514/Small_v_McDonagh_News_Conference.aspx
So Tommy is going to look to avenge his mate Mathew Hall's defeat, so he will have some incentive. Whether he has the class and ability is another matter. Small by mid rounds TKO.
