Sims has a chance a week from tomorrow on the Matchroom show (Farmer vs. Díaz undercard) to stunt on GRS by doing what the Mexican failed to do in twelve rounds: stop Roamer Alexis Angulo.
I think he'll do it within 7, tbh. You could drive a Buick through some of the holes in the Colombian banger's awkward offense. It honestly is very embarrassing for Ramírez Sánchez that given that much time he didn't even drop him. (and this isn't a case of Angulo being invulnerable; he was dropped by some of the South American tomato cans he smashed on his way up)
Shhh, don't tell @IntentionalButt or @Serge but I have a bad feeling you might be right, and that he's going to get battered next week. I say that as a fan of his. The last half of the Vaughn Alexander match is still traipsing somewhere around in the back of my mind, and it made me pump the breaks, and I haven't ease my foot up yet, and I definitely have't stomped back on the gas. Angulo hits, really hard.... so hard he rocked Zurdo to his core once or twice. This might be as big of a banana peel as Banana Rosario last week.
This is exactly what he needs, Angulo is underrated. He is decently skilled but it's his punching power that ought to be vaunted by any picking him for the upset. If there's ever going to be a good step up that'll check Sims' skills and more importantly his chin, it's this guy. As a big Sims fan, the dude is classy down to the bone. Well-spoken, polite, athletic, good-looking and charismatic. He has lots going for him and I hope he becomes a star at 168 and 175, perhaps even up at 200 if he really wants to test his mettle.
It's definitely a risky fight to take. I was very impressed with the heaviness of Angulo's hands in the Zurdo fight
Jesus Christ, Angulo looks like the lovechild of a ****ing tank and a brick shithouse. This content is protected
I want to hate gloating her, but nah.... **** Sims, he 100% deserved that ****. It'll teach him a lesson, never fight like a punk ass ***** again.
