Not until he fights a 'live' fighter.

I'd love to see how he'd fare against Tony Thompson.

He's light years ahead of Hughie even before his mysterious injury. Wish people would stop comparing them.

Joshua would knock him out within 2 rounds.

Not much point in comparing Hughie and Joshua, your better off comparing Tyson and Joshua as they are the same age, Tyson is well ahead in terms of competition. Still, I think after these 3 fights they should bring in Kevin Johnson so Joshua can be the first to KO him, looks like he'll be fighting for the British title at some point but unless it's Chisora or Fury, which it won't be, it's a step backwards. Either way i think he'll be ready for some competitive fights by June time, with the likes of Arreola, Charr and Ustinov, maybe Thompson if he's still going.

Well to be honest Hearn was comparing Joshua to Hughie Fury! After all he was matching AJ up with Hughie's leftovers and making a big deal when he dispatched them quicker than Hughie. The way I see it is they won't be fighting anytime soon, so lets compare the two when Hughie has grown into a man of Joshua's age.

Hes moving along nicely, but none of these pose a real threat. Hugh and deontay dont have the same amateur pedigree so the level of opposition will be lower. Also as said hugh is only 19.

The thing about Jousha is he looks clueless when under pressure .....Joshua is a manufactured fighter not a natural one fools bang on about his athleticism bollocks he's stiff and robotic.. if it wasn't for his size he wouldn't make the grade..

I disagree with you in pretty much all of that. To say he's not a natural fighter is just stupid, look how far he has come in such a short period of time. He also has a real nasty streak and is ridiculously competitive, natural attributes of fighters.

He is a 7 fight novice, how is he supposed to know how to react in situations he's hardly encountered such as been under pressure? He's never seen the end of the second round, when has he been under this pressure you're on about?

As for his "athleticism", there are 2 other heavyweights in that shape, and that's Wlad and Haye. Enough said.

    Stupid, unfounded comments.

......Would you call Audley a natural fighter?No...Haye is what you call athletic in the way he moves ,Joshua is robotic and stiif not athletic at all that's why he was compared to Bruno...about pressure have you not seen any of his amateur fights..

The Wilder comparison just goes to show how well preserved his handlers have been - it's a joke really.

I'm all for not sticking fighters in the deep end when there not ready, there is no rush but they need to be taking fights that will prepare them to get to the level they want to be at... not knocking over stiffs after 30+ fights.

As for the comparison with Hughie, let's not forget he's only 19. A more like for like comparison, as has been said, would be Tyson as there closer in age.

What are you talking about?? Audley has zero heart and doesn't like getting hit which is why he was a good amatuer but terrible pro. So Wlad isn't athletic because he doesn't constantly move round the ring? Joshua moves better than him, but not many people will be able to make him move so why would he waste energy dancing round the ring when you can fight behind a solid jab? Haye does it because of his size. He looks like Bruno but Bruno is actually mentally ill and struggled with pressure. Joshua is intelligent, confident and constantly criticises himself. As for amateur fights, you mean the ones where he was literally an amateur having only boxed a few years? I have seen some of them but to reference them at this stage is pointless, unless tos how how far he's come in only a few years.

What a stupid set of comments, respond to me if you like I won't be replying you are utterly clueless.

I think the way Joshua is being matched is fine- he's busy and seems to fight progressively tougher opponents each time out. What more can you ask for?

I also think that the guy has a lot of heart which will help him later on.
