    He is limited.

Great left hook, jab and right cross. But he has no uppercuts in his game, his head movement could be better and he could do with throwing more than single shots.

Please make Joshua vs Price in 2015, Eddie! So much power in one ring = night night for someone...

Depends what context you mean limited, in terms of potential he has a lot, he can develop his combos etc throughout his fights and sparring.

Limited suggests you think he cant/wont?

I would in all honestly expect Wilder to lose to both Guinn and Johnson, he sucks that bad.

Mike Tyson won the world heavyweight title at 20. Pete Fury claimed Hughie would beat this record. :patsch

Joshua hand speed seemed to move up a notch last fight. Very impressive

People compare him to Bruno saying he's stiff and robotic. I think he moves amazingly well for such a big lump

Every fight I'm more impressed and excited by this chap. Be good to see him in with someone who can take and give some see what he's like in the trenches. He's so green in regard to amature career but seems to have a steep learning curve

That's very neighbourly of you, I'm sure him and Tony Simms will really appreciate that!

Hes not showed any signs of rushing him yet. Airich was his last opponent and he was 40,about 5 inches shorter and nearly 3 stone lighter. Not as good as some of the amateurs Joshua beat IMO. And thats 8 fights in. About a year ago Hearn said he'd be ready for Fury in 18 months. If thats true he'd best get a move on. But I think you're right about variety etc. A big young heavyweight with a decent record could be a good next step.

It was mainly the after fight interview that raised my concern a little, almost suggesting a world title shot in 8-12 months. Thats not what Joshua needs, i think so far he is being brought along quite well though it needs another step up like you say with someone active and energetic with different stylistics.

I think after Bahktov he should fight Johnson, reckon he would knock him out after getting some rounds in. I think Charr would be good after that. I know it's a step up, but it's critical to face people who come to win at this stage of his career and Charr would really go for it.

Yeh i agree Johnson would be the calibre he needs to face next year. I think Charr type, or Lucas Browne by the end of the 2015.

Agreed. But I think Hearn uses a bit of poetic license with his fighter. I think in a later post you mentioned Browne at the end of next year. If he could clear that hurdle successfully I think he'd be well on the way. None of our lads are battering the door down to get to Lucas.
