He got up and stopped Wlad, but yes, since then, AJ fights not to lose, instead of fighting to win. That is Hearn saying "don't take risks", you only need to hear the final bell to win (unless you get completely outboxed).

AJ's problem is he is chinny, but most effective when he is aggressive. This means he either takes a risk looking really good, or looks really bad. A decent chin is important in the HW division and that is one of AJ's key weaknesses. Wlad's glass chin forced him into the huggy bear style and dodgy referees, which was a terrible spectacle for HW boxing.

AJ also has the panic of being hit as well. He fights very upright so does leave himself exposed. There is a balance to be found that he hasn’t yet as he is way too passive now. Needs to let his hands go as like you said it’s when he is at his best

AJ is usually respectfull & chill especially before the fights & again it was his hyped up opponent trash talking but then after they lose their the first ones who wants to shake hands, if he says nothing people will say he's weak if he speaks up like he just did there then he's a gangster, choose.

AJ fans rally... Joshua has always been like this. When someone respected him, he returned the same respect. However, if someone shows disrespect and provokes, Anthony can show his "tooth". I appreciate it. I remember people complaining about Klitschko that they were too polite. And Vitek should have killed Dereck for punching him with an open hand, and Wladimir is an idiot because when Dereck spat water on him, he didn't react. Here we have a guy who respects others, is friendly, but won't lie to himself. And what? It's bad too. It won't please some people. As for Wallin, as mentioned, he is a proud guy. He didn't shake hands with Murat. Joshua got angry mainly because of the quarrel with Miller planned by the authorities, but Otto added his share by talking about Joshua's end. I understand AJ's anger because his end is being talked about by a man who has not achieved and will never achieve even half of what he has and brazenly presented it as "taking advantage of favorable conditions". I would like to see Wallin take advantage of such conditions in the ring with an angry Wlad Klitschko...

The best made plans go out the window when you get hit in the head and for some even when you think about getting hit in the head. How many rounds will Joshua pretend to be a gangsta for before reverting to self?

What a diva the interviewer can’t ask Joshua any direct questions but Hearn got to do it. Like Joshua is Cleopatra or something.

Is it weird though how both AJ and Tyson Fury both can’t handle any criticism whatsoever; anytime someone mentions something about them they throw a hissy fit. They’re the same person

    It's a good fight

Two big strong, fairly mobile men.

Wallin serially underrated and Joshua who has been overrated for most of his career is recently being underrated in my eyes

I'm feeling a 9th round TKO for Josh but wouldn't be surprised if a similar result goes the other way

The fact we'll never see Wilder put AJ's head into orbit saddens me.

AJ seems broken to me. I'm doubtful Wallin's going to get the nod if it goes to the cards, but I do think Otto can put together a performance worthy of winning.

Wallin isn't a fighter who's likely to KO his opponent, but he had no problem preventing Gassiev from landing his best stuff and showed good commitment landing lots of solid shots on Marat, too. Mind you, Gassiev isn't broken. And Gassiev has shown he can land huge shots on opponents. You may have noticed.

AJ has a massive chip on his shoulder and thinks everybody not named Hearn is involved in a conspiracy to belittle him. It's not the first time I've seen a fighter slip into that rut, but very few fighters escape from it once they succumb.
