    The most surprising thing about this fight for me is Bakole not winning via KO. I so wish I could've been in attendance tonight so I could've climbed in the ring and spat in Yoka's face for disgracing our species with that disgusting old lady chin of his.

    Well at least as a Brit I no longer have to be embarrassed about British referees being the most incompetent/bias/corrupt. The French have outdone them.

    Glad Bakole actually got given the win but those cards are hilarious lol. When someone wins pretty much every round and yet you worry about how this fight is actually going to be scored then you know something is wrong.

    I'm fluent in French. From memory:

    "It wasn't my night tonight. I want to thank the fans for their support and I'm sorry I couldn't deliver the performance they were looking for. I had a bad start and couldn't control the fight in the way my coaches and I planned.

    My ankle was badly twisted and bothered me badly. It was very painful and hard to put weight on it fully. This limited my approach thereafter and the count I was given when I twisted it was an injustice.

    But professionals don't make excuses, even when unfortunate or unjust events occur. I won't complain. From an early age I was taught that nothing should dissuade me, not my prawn cracker mandible nor having the balls of a chinchilla. If I apply myself I can achieve anything. We go again, thank you for your amazing support."

    Same, I think he was skittish about blowing his load early, even though he has an incredible engine for a tub of lard, if he went all out for a KO, he'd have probable been blowing out of his ass by the 4th. The they would have definitely robbed him.Tony "Eggshell" Yolka's mandible and heart are reprehensibly and despicably contemptible. He has Amir Khan's chin, Chris Colbert's heart and an elongated Chunky DeGale's looks. What a combo.:sisi1

    Actually irritates me how much the judges have favoured him over the years, including at amateur. Was gifted against Joyce for basically being forced back the entire fight with zero control over Joyce except landing like two jabs a round. That wasn’t the only occasion too.

    Glad to see him get the defeat today though, surprised he didn’t get knocked out however.

    Yet ironically, we have that ref to thank for Bakole's win, no doubt had he not called that twisted ankle glove touch a knockdown, it would've been a Split Decision.:lol:

    I despise glass-jawed fighters with every fibre of my being, especially ones whose lack of heart matches their lack of punch resistance. I'd round them all up and lock them in the gulag and throw away the key if I had my way. No joke.
