I have watched one Yarde fight a number of months ago and his defense was all over the place why is this guy getting so much attention and will he end as just another Eubank Jr?

He could be good, but his team don't seem to have any interest in matching him against anyone decent... Or the same size as him... Or with anything resembling power... They also don't seem to like giving his opponents a full camp

Yes he has power, he has skills, he looks flashy but until he steps up it's hard for us to say. If he doesn't step up this year, I think I'll give up hope on him

Add in the whole "lions in the camp" mantra ... Eugh... Makes me cringe ridiculously

That fact that he’s only fought bums speaks volumes. Over on the Brit forum we hate him because he’s not even fought for the British title.

    Possible glass jaw

If we are talking levels, at this moment in time I'd have him as English level fighter, even tho the wbo have him ranked no1.
He has fought absolutely no one with a pulse and in no way dos he deserve that ranking with who.
He has some power I do agree but landing against lads that know how to box is another story.
He recently bumped into hoses Burton out I usa and it was put up on yt, he seemed rather rattled with hosea

I dont know. I think just like a young Eubank Jr he is looking alot flashier than he really is he is just being able to get away with it at this level. His actual bread and butter Boxing is quite basic all the flashiness is when hes out of range. He is flattering to deceive if thats the right phrase for it. Theres no doubting he bangs and has quick hands and that seems to be able to take you quite far so id never write him off as some bum but i see him struggling against the better Boxers at the top end of the division.

Id be happy for him to prove me wrong but i seem to be having to wait longer than i was expecting as he isnt really stepping it up much. Thats usually a tell tale sign of somebody who could well be exposed not much further down the line. Right now i dont think he is the best Britain has to offer at the weight either.

He is the second most feared man in Hungary after Prince Patel.

Comparing Yarde to Eubank Jnr. is a bit strong given that Jnr. has fought at a far higher level and if nothing else has displayed a world level degree of toughness if not the skills. Yarde and his team on the other hand continue to show absolutely no desire to take a risk. Buatsi imo would take him apart in brutal fashion and Callum Johnson would likely end the hype. The likes of Bivol, Gvozdyk, Kovalev and Alvarez would absolutely crush him because he has absolutely no experience beyond low European level.

He looks to have some skill and talent to work with but, his team are doing him a great disservice by matching him the way they are.

Eubank’s has proven he is tough and a has a good chin but he just can’t box that well. Like you say , I think he will be exposed down the line. Dubois has been matched much better despite being a lot younger and very inexperienced. We’ll see what happens this year but I’m not confident so far about his progress...

It’s the people around him why we haven’t seen him in a proper fight yet.

He doesn’t even spar with any of the domestic-level or above guys.

Tony Bellew wanted him for sparring for the Makabu fight but Yarde (or his team) turned it down.

    Something really not right.

Bellew would have exposed him completely, Nigel Benn wouldn`t spar in a gym he was in according to a former boxer that knew my family, this was in his early years while he was blowing eveyone away but had no defense, if it got out that they got schooled in sparring it would derail the hype train.
