Then he fights a Colombian bartender in a f**king nightclub on his night off, who has a record of 4 wins, 48 defeats and 3 draws, a guy who has spent all of his career at lower weights. Then if he overcomes this monstrous challenge he can get another World Title shot? No, just no. Marvin Hagler had to wait until his 49th fight for a shot at a World Title, he had to go through hell to get it, Yarde is having everything handed to him on a plate.
Back to the bum carousel, to take another huge step up for another WBO titleshot? Sounds like a classic Yarde/Warren move.

Has anyone else ever got 2 mandatory fights for a world title without beating anyone with a pulse to get either of the shots.
And risk it all? Anyone durable could end up wearing Yarde down and then he's vulnerable. I really do want to like him and see him do well but I can't take this sort of thing seriously, if it happens it's an awful fight, a criminal fight.
I am guessing they have sprung a time deadline on them? Perhaps as it is a ticking box exercise they would rather it go unnoticed?
