The sport is in a mess.I do understand why nobody wants to travel away from home,given recent results.

 

They should just take the damn Kovalev fight. Getting KO'd by Kovalev - given Yarde's AM career and pro career etc etc - is...fine, really. There's nothing wrong with getting iced by him at the top level never mind Yarde's level. And it'll raise his profile (and respect from fans) a damn sight more than any other fight he has on the table is going to do.

I feel like Warren is happy to gamble with Yarde personally but it's his team that are stalling any remote challenge. Be interesting to see how it pans out

 

This Tunde turd is one of the most deluded twats in the sport.

 

I always liked and backed Tunde. Seems like he really cares about Yarde and I felt like he talked sense about boxing in the past. This has utterly changed my mind though. Every time I think about this interview I chuckle to myself.

It's beyond mental! If you want the fight in the UK, earn it by fighting some top 10 guys and making a legit name for yourself, or let it go to bids and beat out the yanks. Nothing he said in this interview makes even the tiniest bit of sense to me.

I can only imagine Kovalev's team looking at this opponent, as they would any other, and being utterly confused by the rhetoric here.
I mean, Yarde is a keen young lion and I like his moxie but FFS, he's not above or even at Cleverly level ( when he fought Kova) and poor ol' Clev got his sh1t pushed in.
How in the funk is Yarde the A side??? It just invites mockery.
Riding the Bum Carousel and calling out "I'm the draw Vs Kovalev!" is just beyond parody....
