Anthony Yarde rumored to have a glass chin. I would like to see him in with Fonfara, to test where he is at. Maybe even Joe Smith.

I believe it actually, there is a reason he hasn't stepped up his competition level at all. Still fighting those Hungarian cab drivers one after another.

He has stepped up, but none of them have been punchers(all with very low KO %).

He's avoiding punchers for a reason.... First decent one he faces likely puts him down if not out. Highly overrates himself and is one of few brits I don't root for along with Conor Benn and the Furys.

His opponent selection seems to point in that direction.

He doesn’t look like he is used to being hit, every time I’ve seen him hit with a half decent shot, he seems shocked. I think he has had things go his way his whole career and the moment he gets in there with a tried and tested puncher he will fall into a tough tough fight.

The guy is rated at 6 IBF and 2 WBO...

Thinks he's one of the best yet turned down Beterbiev...

He could fight Browne or Johnson or anyone else rated high in the organisations to push for title shot but instead his next fight is Sek who boasts a 27% KO rate...

    Fraud.

I'm not sold on Yarde and never have been, I could be wrong, he could go on to do very good things but I just can't see it.

I just keep thinking FW guided Cleverly to a LHW WBO world title and then through 4 defences until he ran in to Kovalev.

Cleverlys run was Kuziemski, Bellew, Karpency, Hawk, Krasniqi and then he got slapped around by Kovalev.

Maybe that's the plan, the blueprint they want to follow but at even a slower pace.

As others have said, those rumours are most likely true going by the shocking punchers that he keeps being fed.

I've been huge on Yarde's talent but his team clearly know something that I don't.

I agree with all above. It just has to be glass based on the guys they picking. When you consider his own speed, power and skills, there can be no other reason why he fights zero risk fighters again and again. He's in the wrong division at the wrong time if he is packing glass.

I'm surprised that in this day and age there's been no talk of being dropped or KO'd in sparring. Every time I go on YouTube I see some mug who KO'd AJ banging on about it, but this lion Yarde seems to be clean as a whistle. Anyone seen any talk of his glass mandible gettin cracked behind closed doors?

I think he tires too fast and that his chink is not that strong to win a title against top competition.

The rest of the division better hope he's packing glass because that's the only chance anyone could have a shot at upsetting him, dudes got elite talent with elite++++ offensive skills
