Anthony Yarde born 08/13/91 is a 6'0 Light Heavyweight/Cruiserweight with an 18-1 17 KO's record. Born in Hackney, London and fighting out of Ilford, Essex, United Kingdom. Anthony who initially had aspirations of being a track star and a football (soccer) player in school had a hard time staying focused and dedicated to it, so getting into fights coupled with being a childhood fan of Mike Tyson he took up Boxing in School, he was moved by the fact that Tyson was undersized at HW and was somewhat of an underdog. And it appears Iron Mike's style has rubbed off in a big way on Anthony, since he fights almost like a hybrid of Tyson and David Haye. Anthony for a LHW is built like a brick shithouse, and he has aspirations of eventually moving up to Cruiser (he's already fought there) and ultimately all the way to Heavy. He's got very fast hands, a decent jab, very explosive, an ambush style, fast combos, fast feet, natural athleticism, good head movement and reflexes. He also seems to have concussive power how much power he truly has is yet to be known since he's mainly been feasting on tin cans with soft chins, but its seems fairly legit. He's a still got a ways to go, but he's a real diamond in the rough that could become yet another player at LHW, he definitely does not need to be rushed into a big fight, he needs to get as much experience as possible, because making it in the brutal LHW, CW or HW divisions is a big ask, but if he keeps blowing guys out of there when he steps up, he might prove to be a force. Check Out The Tank Of Ilford In Action.:deal::deal::deal::deal:

Postscript: He stepped up, and got JTFO by The Krusher.:D

Been watching this kid with interest, love the way he fights, purposefull aggression, think he might have issues getting decent fights as he could become one to be avoided

Nice find and write-up CST! Looks very good on offense, very fast and athletic, power seems legit. I was very impressed by the accuracy and power of his punches. It's hard to know about his chin though as I only saw one punch of any decent quality land on him but he covered up and took it ok.

It may be my bias but he seems to have a thin-nish neck for a CW, if I were his trainer I'd do lots of neck exercises. I think he goes straight backwards too often as well.

The LHW, CW divisions are stacked but he could be a player. Shouldn't be rushed but clearly very high potential.

He looks more like 5'9''-5'10''. No way a 6 feet tall man with this amount of muscle mass can make 175. Apart from that he looks quite promising and has an exciting style. Easy to root for someone like that.

Possibly, but he's got some potential, there appears to be some natural athleticism and power, so if molded properly, you never know.

Looks very raw. Reminds me of a younger version of Haye, missing some elements of his elusiveness.

He needs to do a hell of lot of work if he wants to rise up to be even British LHW champion....

GTFOH, I'd pick him 9 fights in against ANY lhw, right now. he'll be owning the lhw division the second he gets his shot.

his natural talent dwarfs the entire division.
you guys will see, I brought him up last week and this forum HATES every elite level talented fighter.

This kid was born to take fighters OUT
