Why's this guy been matched so softly?.....

He's getting hyped but his opponents have been the poorest possible.

I think he's a big hypejob all he really has is power, they are matching him extremely softly like they are hiding something. He looks like he didn't much amateur pedigree. Don't be surprised if he gets exposed as soon as he steps up.

He needs to step up now. But I disagree with you, from what I have seen so far he looks to be quite talented.

I think he's the light heavyweight version of Larry Olubamiwo haha. The comparisons with Nigel Benn are definitely a joke though.

Remember Olubamiwo was a musclebound guy with power who had a bit of power early on, and was getting a little hype and had signed deals with Frank Maloney and then Frank Warren.

I agree with what your saying in terms of him being matched softly but I still see great potential in him.

We wont find out until FW puts him in with a live body which probably wont be until he's had 20 odd fight's, then it will be someone like Kovalev.

He is obviously a few levels above his current opposition and I could be wrong but I'm sure he had next to no amateur experience.

However he does seem talented and does need to be matched more tough, he probably has tougher spars than the fights he's been having.

I heard he only fought 10-20 times as an amateur
