Anthony Yarde vs Hosea Burton - British Title Eliminator

Perfect fight, Yarde has looked excellent thus far but against limited opp. I hope Burton can make him go rounds so we can learn more about him but his power looks very legit.

 

Would be a good step up for Yarde if it happens. Burton or Ajisafe is the type of guy id like to see Yarde in with next.

 

Very good fight, Burton is a good boxer and was dominating Buglioni and could do the same to Yarde. Be interesting when/if Yarde catches him though as we'll find out if Yarde has power against higher level opposition!

 

yarde is so over hyped, he hasn't fought anyone and people are saying he's the next superstar. Burton on points for me.

 

I cant see this happening, not yet anyway.
Yarde hasnt fought anyone really yet and hasnt been past 4 rds.
Wazza knows that Burton is a decent operater and was winning the fight vs buglioni and if Burton could hang in for 6rds the scales would probably start tipping.
If i was training/managing Yarde i wouldnt put him in with Burton just yet, id find a boxer type with reach sonewhere about strong english level ability and see how he fairs.
Beating Hobbs and Baranyi isnt nothing like beating Burton.
But i do think Yarde has got big potential but he needs bringing on correctly.

 

Was Burton - Buglioni a legit stoppage? Never seen that fight.

LOL not me you barmpot, Staminakills has said this a few times. He thinks Yarde already beats Kovalev and Ward.

I'm reserving judgement on Yarde until he fights someone with a pulse.

 

It's the smart thing to do from Warrens point of view, get's exposure for Yarde on a bigger platform. Matchroom and sky have more viewers than BT and boxnation, can only be a good thing for Yarde if he reaches a wider audience.

Good fight. This should give us a better idea on how good Yarde actually is atm.

 

A good durable mover can beat Yarde but Hosea isn't the one. Hosea is not tough enough mentally and very predictable. Yarde physically will overwhelm him.
