It was close in the end and Yarde could have probably got it over Arthur but I think the end result was fair. Hard to see where Yarde goes from here, unless he gets an immediate rematch.

Arthur dominated about 4 rounds with his jab, Yarde won about 4 outright based on activity, the other 4 were nip and tuck. So, no... not really.

Yarde tried to win rounds with one punch, while Arthur was landing 30 Jabs. The better fighter won.

Good to see a decent decision. That wouldn't happen on a matchroom card.

No, Arthur threw about 30 jabs, landed about 10 per round. Yarde throw about 15 and landed 5.

Btw big applause to judges. In the event that Canelo vs Smith plays out exactly like this, the scorecards will be in favor of a certain ginger by 119-109 x 3

this fight was a ridiculous mismatch too. Yarde could have KOed this guy in 3 rounds, had he done ANYTHING.... but he decided not to do ****, for god knows the reason.

I've seen amoebas with higher ring IQ than Yarde.

They had an interview (Yarde mostly crying about a robbery) and Arthur said there was no injury. Wasn't throwing the right hand because Yarde's defence was good and he was getting countered apparently

    Arthur fights like a *****, because he's a *****.

Yarde fought like a *****, because Kovalev neutered him.

So Arthur wasn’t injured , he just felt Yarde didn’t give him any openings to land the right??

    I don’t believe that!

The hype that he's the best of Britain in terms of LHW fighters.

I'm not on about the world scene, Beterbiev and Bivol have that sewn up.

But I detest it when British fighters don't pay their domestic dues and then see it as a step down when they are doing.

This whole build up had been about Yarde being too good for domestic level, but he'd never proven himself at it, he just had a good round against Kovalev.

Khan is another one who did it. Didn't fight Thaxton or Murray because he felt he was too good.

That's why I'm glad Yarde lost. He was never too good for this fight.
