Warren has got a protection job on his hands with all the overrated fighters he has in his stable.

True... winning by a shut out RTD is not being "exposed". Yarde has not looked great but there are positives - rounds against durable opposition. I'm not on the hype train, but I am hopeful of a decent career (just so long as he starts to guard with his left hand!).

Life and death?? He never got knocked down or even lost a round. Lool come on how can you say he went life and death when he won every round and got the stoppage.

Did he show vulnerabilities? Sure , is he ready for world level? No. However let’s not act like he was getting beaten or was losing.

Yarde will get found out when he eventually steps up to true world class.

Can anyone imagine my fellow compatriot Averlant getting to the 7th round against Kovalev, Gvozdyk, Beterbiev or Stevenson?

Yarde has a flyweight sized head on a heavyweight frame.....its like a grape.

Yards needs to be stepped up and stepped up dramatically, preferably against an opponent who can dig a bit.

I am suspicious to why his opponents can't punch, I don't expect them to stick him in with huge dangers but there must be some kind of danger to keep him honest, sharp and alert.

Or he just can't take a shot and they are not risking it.

Main Event Summary - Yarde seems easy to hit with a right hand lead, very early on aswell, which is not a good sign considering he seems to be going the WBO route in pursuit of Kovalevs belt. He didnt have much going back at him so the chin is still in question, he took flush shots occasionally from a guy who really did look featherfisted. Looks like he has some powerful bodyshots off the back foot, i was impressed with the accuracy of shots when his back was too the ropes. This fight didnt answer that many questions but i think we knew that when the opponent was announced, id like too see a decent step up now, bring on Buglioni and let us see where hes at, right now, id favour Buglioni too potentially make Yarde gas out.

I’m in agreement, he isn’t an exceptional talent but I think he has ability, no doubt. I think he has to lose some muscle or up his work rate, those big single shots won’t work at world level. He seems realistic about his level atm but the problem with him is he is in the deepest division in the game imo.

You liar, you damn well felt those right hands, that's why you held on for dear life.

But all of those are at least 5 years older than Yarde with many more amateur and professional fights. I personally doubt Yarde will ever be truly elite (as so few are), but given a few more years seasoning, I cannot rule out the the possibility that he might surprise me. At the very least, I reckon he will be in some entertaining scraps... and that's enough for me... no need to be a hater.

It’s the same **** Warren did with buglioni, didn’t naturally step him up and then when he did he got well beat.

If he was the real deal, with the way he is behaving, he'd never have got caught on the chin numerous times by the same punch.

And he sure as hell shouldn't have needed 7 rounds to stop him.

That's not signs of a great fighter, neither a potential one.

Someone with a decent jab, good power and decent footwork and it will be end of this kid.
