    Friday at Royal Albert Hall in London, airing live in the USA on ESPN+. Third-billed on the card, subordinate to a pair of British national title contests. WBO Intercontinental light heavyweight title at stake, fifth defense of Yarde. If victorious, WBO number one mandatory contender Yarde is guaranteed a shot at champion Sergey Kovalev later in 2019. Reeves is unrated in any major org's top top 15.

    I'm sort of low-key rooting for Mr. Seveer (can you figure out what his nickname is backwards ;) ...yeah, turns out he isn't just a moron who can't spell the word "severe" properly :sisi1) to spoil the party, despite the Krusher fan-boy in me relishing the idea of Kovalev earning a very big purse to go earn a huge wad of bank notes by easily smashing this overrated hype job under the Union Jack banner. To date Yarde's biggest professional victories (in justification of the obscene razzmatazz around him) are Dariusz Sęk & Nikola Sjekloća - from whom Reeves on paper isn't even close to a step up...not even a lateral move, really. He is coming off a mild upset over former TMT prospect Lanell Bellows (dropping him twice en route to a UD) and has an impressive KO1 blitz over Anthony Caputo Smith to his credit...but, he was stopped by Karo Murat a year ago in his biggest step up in class to date, and has an ugly KO loss on his record in 2013 against the obscure Greg "Juice" Brady (then 1-1, now 5-2).

    Yarde is a bum with a joke of a resume and acting like he's a champ. He turned down the Beterbiev fight and said he isn't ready yet but acting like already won some big belts. He should STFU. Kovalev would expose that glass jaw within 6 rounds.

    So, mister Reeves isn't a little bit backwards, but just regular backwards. Maybe the WBA throws their new Regular Backwards belt in the mix, which would also fit Yarde's career up till now.

    Y'all need to give Antony Yarde a whole LOT more respect. What other boxer manages to get in such great shape time after time whilst having to deal with actual Lions in his training camp?

    Can you imagine the stress? Even taking a shower after a workout is an activity wracked with danger and risk. The man is a hero and he gets no credit for it whatsoever.

    Putting some spare vcash on Seveer just for the heck of it. Accidents happen in boxing... a couple of loose screws on one of the ringlights above Yarde's corner, a brick accidentally making it into Reeves' left glove...
