Grandmother according to the BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/52161797 Bloody awful, feel for the family.
A lot of people going through some serious heartache atm. My prayers go out to Anthony, and all the others who's had to face this adversity.
From what I’ve read of previous articles, Yarde didn’t have much to do with his father. Seems odd to me that a distant / non existent father, who has no health issues, would suddenly die of coronavirus and presumably the grandmother from unknown Father’s side also dies of Corona days later - and Yarde is posting on social media to stay at home stay safe etc. Just saying.
Boxing aside, the young man is having a really awful time. I admire him for trying to use this to put the right message out. Not that it matters in the big scheme of things but if anyone like ShadesofAli wants to be judgmental, I am not a Yarde fan.
Nothing odd about it that I can see. What do you think is odd about it? If Yarde has posted to stay at home he is correct to do so as that is the government’s instructions. Just saying.
If I grew up and my Father wasn’t part of my life, then I’m sorry but I’m not sure if I would be bothered to shed a tear if I then found out later in life that he died. So I’m not buying the whole he’s going thru a terrible time and let’s give our fake sympathy.
Could be plenty of reasons why he wasnt around Dont assume Also if the reasons were bad parent etc, maybe they worked it out as Anthony got older? Either way its got to be a bad feeeling for him with two deaths in the family regardless of closeness And im not sure its fake sympathy being given here More condolences Lets not jam the thread up with negative stuff from here on in? Alot of people in the sport read this site and it would be a bit crap for him to stumble across a family inquisition
Gov guidelines are baloney. Watch how many choose to ignore those guidelines today now the weather is hot.
