Paul Dempsey was the only person suggesting it's about time Yarde stepped up the level of opposition and was basically shot down.


In my opinion the only reason they are going to the US is nothing to do with gaining experience and getting exposure because he needs exposure here in the UK, it's because they can continue to fight light punching, small, middleweights and the US audience haven't had to suffer the previous list of turd, they can get away with it.

Then they will come back to the UK in the new year and give it the old "He has been away for a while, had a break over the new year and needs a little sharpener, so this next one is just a tick over fight.."

And that will be another light punching, small, welterweight and then we are in the middle of 2019, then they can see where the British and commonwealth titles are and call out Frank Buglioni again.

Say Buglioni didn't want the fight and say because they spent all that time trying to get a "big domestic fight" with Buglioni it's left them short of time and so now..

They will have to fight another "keep busy opponent" and line up a light punching, small, bantamweight.

Then it's 2020 and by then Yarde may be ready for a genuine domestic rival, if not then they will have a fight in Germany or somewhere like that and do all of the above again.
