Sorry, it was a let down of a superfight. Just not a fun fight to watch, you Calzaggots loved it, but you guys would love watching Joe take a ****.. so your opinion doesn't mean much.
You might be right, but I see Hopkins having his moments, and being able to land that counter right through some of Calzaghe's flurries. I see it being a sloppy, competitive, and for the most part boring fight, but I cant wait to see it.
Is this punch really gonna have that much bearing on the fight, whenever someone predicts a Hopkins victory it all seems to focus on this one punch. Even if he lands it from time to time is it gonna make that much difference to the outcome?
On that computerbox thing they have in the USA of America, it looks impressive for the % landed stat thing. Then again, there are no stupid computers, just stupid people using them.
I believe it will, for the mere fact Calzaghe loves to get off his flurries without being hit, but if Hopkins continually gets in that counter right, Calzaghe might think twice about recklessly throwing wild punches, and end up picking his punches to throw more, which in turn, I see his workrate going down, which may effect his overall fight plan
He tried that flurry **** early against Kessler and got tagged hard for it and then changed the game plan.
Well, Hopkins is a ring general, and I believe if Calzaghe changes his game plan or tries to fight Hopkins fight, I believe it will be a mistake on his part. If he could get off first and often, without eating too many right hands, he will be on his way to winning the fight. I do think Hopkins rough house tactics will also play a big part, we all seen what happend to him when Bika played rough, if that was hopkins in there instead of Bika, I dont think Calzaghe would still be undefeated right now.
