This is a very good fight that may be overlooked due to people's (justified) disinclination to purchase a JCC Jr. PPV. This threatens to be a show-stealer, and is for the WBA interim 135lb title. Worth checking out whether you buy Latin Fury or not. Antillon, who has been quietly impressing for some time now, is coming off a TKO victory over once-promising Tyrone Harris...which, while not an unprecedented feat, hasn't been accomplished since the carpet-bombing of uppercuts unleashed by Israel Hernandez three years ago. Acosta, meanwhile, has been feasting on Gerber since winning a WBA SFW eliminator against Anges Adjaho (of recent "I've fallen after taking a knee and I can't get up!" against Antonio De Marco fame) almost two years ago and never capitalizing on it. They have 38 knockouts in a combined 51 wins; Antillon has not only stopped but floored (often more than once) just about every single opponent he's faced the last couple of years, and is himself vulnerable having been subjected to a flash KD by Jose Cruz; Acosta has been KO'ed twice in early rounds. Thrills guaranteed. :deal Should be a coming out party for Antillon...although anything can happen in this sport, and all the ingredients are there for a brutal upset. :good
I'm sort of confused as to how this wound up being for a title. Regardless I think it's a good fight and it's basically going to achieve the goal of making Antillon look like a monster. I'm betting Urbano by TKO4.
Me too. Not that he's quite ready to market a PPV around himself yet, but there is no way in hell that Chavez-Houllier should be the main event over UA in his toughest test to date.

Just a shame it's going to be buried on a crap PPV and not a FNF, which honestly would net him more attention.
