First of all, anyone who didnt show because chavez jr pulled out missed a great fightcard.

Andy Ruiz looked real sharp. He has speed and all of his punches are precise with good technique. If he can drop 20 more pounds i think he will be hard to beat.

Rodrigo Garcia (the best prospect ive seen) showed alot of patience, used a consistant jab and double jab, and set up a perfect left hook that dropped the dude. The guy was so hurt he did ballet when he got up.

Nonito Donaire showed some serious skill. He looked by far the most polished outta all fighters on the card. I only saw him go to the body once or twice but thats the only complaint i had about his performance. He thoroughly battered his opponent the whole fight, knocked him down something savage, and hit the dude right in the nose with a right that broke the guys nose and he quit. Nonito is right there behind pac as the flips 2nd best fighter.

Soto vs Antillion was a total war. I thought urbano did enough to win the fight and didnt think he deserved a point deduction for the low blows. I noticed the punch stats were all wrong. I swear i read somewhere in the 8th round that soto was outlanding him by over 100 shots. That is not an accurate portrayel of what went on in the fight. Punches landed was about even. The fight was an epic war that went back and forth. Obviously the some of the judges werent counting body shots for antillon and were more impressed with head flurrys where 1 maybe 2 at the most landed. Great fight, with the point deduct i had it a draw.

Was not impressed by Joe Hanks or Jesse Roman. Both fighters showed talent but didnt put everything together that night.

I thought Pinzon would've beat Wolak if he hadn't blown his gas tank in the 2nd round. Mike Jones did the same thing with Soto Karass. These guys have their opponents hurt and just go buck wild with dozens of wide inaccurate punches and it ends up biting them in the ass.

I agree, it might boad well for jones though. Now maybe he can get a fight with a guy like berto. (who fights nothing but blown up jr welters)
