LoL I doubt that was called sparring anymore. Its just a fight with headgears and pillow gloves.
I doubt Roach even calls it sparring for Pac. He's plainly putting pro boxers and aiming to KD Pac for mo' money!

No clear KD in there. In actual fight, the ref would simply wave his hand, rule it slip, wipe pacs glove, then command the word "box"

the happening is almost similar to Barrera-Pac 1 in 1st round, no direct hit, no punch but a clear slip, but ref Cole called it KD and gave pac the ten count.

Good for Antillon, but if I want to read a Novel I will pick up Moby Dick.

was this really a KD? sounds like pac just spun off and stumbled to the canvas. pac is really getting some good sparring in for the hatton fight. first, it was linares and now, antillon.

any idea who ricky's sparring partners are?

it was not clear KD but a clear slipped. bottomline is, Roach is bringing Manny the live "Hatton" in training. good for him.

I heard Valero is the punch bag in Hatton camp, Guzman and the small Puerto Rican champ is also being negotiated to spar for Ricky.

I think this is a good sparring for pacquiao in preparation for Hatton coz Hatton likes to throw body punches....

i am not sure about the pac-man knockdown narrative...sounds a little fishy to me. but, hey, whatever. i think that such a story calls attention to the fact that urbano antillon has really come into his own as a terrific and complete fighter--carries a nice balance of quickness, balance and power in a number of punches from different ranges. he first really caught my attention as more than just another hyped prospect when he looked really sharp and consistently on point against the tough and more experienced--and then only once beaten--ivan valle. antillon's 26 now and i'd really like to see him stay very busy and step up his level of opposition with each fight. he has yet to cross the line into the realm of proving himself against a middle of the pack contender. i'd like to see him do that...gain the confidence of it and move into a real push for a title shot. i think he's ready. the sparring with elite fighters has done well by him so far and, i imagine, will continue to do so.
