By Jove, you're right! ...that post was preceded by this one... I know exactly what happened there. Gonna clue you guys in on a lifehack that used to lighten my load a bit on RBR duty: whichever fighter has more letters (or any diacritics) in their name, I copy it to clipboard and then for the entire match I only spell out the opponent's name while pasting that first one (good ol' reliable ctrl+v!). So in this case, after pasting Allakhverdiev's name in after the "10-9" for winning the round, muscle-memory kicked in and I must've unwittingly pasted it again after the 116-112 for the points totals. So every time I go back and reference the thread I, skipping straight to my 12th round post, think I had it for KA. I did however recall clearly that I had it scored as generously as possible for Vargas (though I didn't recall having had him the victor), and that the only budge room on my card was in the Hawk's direction.
So then I guess in retrospect, by my cards he got a win in a fight he should've drawn, while the other three close ones he did squeak through.
Bottom line is, even with that correction of my embarrassing gaffe, Vargas has been fortunate to come through his Top Rank tenure with as positive a record as he did, and is a judges' darling (sort of the anti- Cristian Mijares)
