    No.

Mancini was probably one of the first fighters I liked, but not in Cervantes' league.

A very bad day for the likable Mancini, ultimately he get the same
results he received against Arguello..... Slowly taken apart by
    Cervantes.

You cats must hate Ray. Always overmatching him. I don't think Ray could beat the weak WBC champs Haley, Hatcher or Curry. And no way he beats 78 Curry.

Cervantes on the other hand is the only fighter of the 70s I would give a chance to beat Roberto.

I'd pick Cervantes, but Mancini would have made him work. Remember, Mancini was no walk in the park for Arguello.

The competitiveness of Duran-Cervantes depends on when they fight.

Cervantes' real peak was 73-75. If the two fight in that time period, Duran wins, but Cervantes gives him Hell in a losing effort.

By the late 70s, Kid Pambele was still very good, but starting to slide. Duran beats him rather wide if they fight in the late 70s.

I took the liberty of uploading Cervantes' destruction of Peppermint Fraser last night. Probably Kid Pambele's best performance on film, other than the wipeout of DeJesus of course. If you watch a lot of Cervantes fights, you'll notice he's a lot quicker and more explosive in this fight than his late 70s title defenses. Enjoy (and subscribe):
