What do people think of this young Brum prospect?.. Seems to be a bit under the radar, Ive watched vids of a couple of his pro fights and he looks good, skilful and axciting to watch :good He was a good amateur, in the GB squad and captained England but surprisingly never signed for a top promoter. Another top up and coming lightweight to add to Luke Campbell, Joe Costello, Martin J Ward, Craig Evans, Scott Cardle, etc. Lightweight is stacked Maybe him and Costello will have a Birmingham rivalry down the line?... :think :good
Hows he developing then as a pro? Gotta be honest heard the name but havent done any reseach. Him, Costello, The Yafai Brothers, Eggington with Frankie & Macklin I hope we see a decent show in Brum.
He is a talent. Will struggle to make waves as he can't get a BBBoC license and is having to box on the none BBBoC shows that have started popping up.
I believe it's due to an issue with the brain scan. Birth mark that BBBoC docs aren't happy with. Difficult to know how good any medical is. I've recently renewed my license and been passed as fit to box however in between taking the medical and my license dropping through the door I was diagnosed with widespread Cancer in my blood, bones, stomach, liver, spleen and spine.
I'm very sorry to hear that Lee. I remember you posting about renewing your license not that long ago. I'll keep you in my prayers, pal :good
Wishing you all the best through this Lee , tough times don't last. Tough people do! On the kid Antonio , isn't he the trainer from brum's kid? Soapy or something like that?
Soggy is his trainer (his dad) I've trained for 2 fights along side them with Jon Pegg, a lot of young talented kids in the gym, a few old uns as well, max maxwell helps out with the training too, I really enjoyed it, jon Pegg one of the best I've worked with, knows his onions
