You are right no one has suggested that. My words are a rehashing of what everyone else has either stated or implied. So I guess I said what everyone else already knows. I actually believe that DeMarco can KO Valero. The more video I see of both fighters convinces me that Valero v. DeMarco is going to look like Lewis v. Tyson. De Marco's jab is very versatile it can be converted into nice hook kind of like what Zarate did with his jab. Also, DeMarco has demonstrated a solid chin in his fight with Casal, and in the Alfaro fight he showed that he is real contender.
DeMarco might have a chance of making a fight out of it if he can survive the first 4 rounds or so but I doubt it.
It's entirely possible he could KO Valero. To do that though, he'd have to engage in a slugfest and that's not worth it. He should use his superior jab to maintain distance, force Valero to fight at his pace and use his boxing ability to take a big decision win.
I think that if he uses his jab eventually Valero's eye will close or he will leave himself open. If this happens DeMarco will pull the trigger and finish him.
You have an abnormal amount of faith in Valero to finish somebody. I don't think he's anywhere nearly as good a finisher as you're making basically.
Watch the video highlight above.... I am talking about DeMarco not Valero though but I figure you meant DeMarco
They're called highlight films for a reason man. I know what you're saying but again...highlight films. Again I'm not a DeMarco expert but of the last 5 fights I've seen of him, I've never been impressed of his "finishing skills". I would be INSANELY impressed if he finished Valero. I'd be shocked.
And you think that knockdowns and punches that hurt a fighter would not be in a highlight video. Please watch the video above and tell me otherwise. Remember Kid Diamond Quit on his stool, Adjaho quit, and Alfaro took a knee and the ref ended it because he knew what was going to happen. You very well know that he hurt them and stayed on them, the fact that either the ref interfered or the fighter quit does not take away from De Marco's ability to end a fight early.
De Marco is a skilled boxer with decent power. Too bad what he's got wouldn't be enough to stop the Valero express. Valero 5rd KO/TKO
and that's just what's going to happen lol... DeMarco will get hit, he will fight back savagely and he'll get knocked the **** out early. I'm 90% sure of it, but I HOPE it goes some rounds so we can get a good look at Valero.
Adjaho took a dive in hopes of milking a DQ. Kid Diamond wasn't knocked out, he quit on his stool. You seem to be missing what I'm saying or just being stubborn. He's not a finisher. He's not a big puncher. A sharp puncher? Certainly. Not a big puncher. Using his punching power in the same thread as doubting the power of Valero is a little silly.
who besides Mosquera get a knock down score on Valero? I remember he hurt him but I don't know if it was an actually kd....but he wasn't a journeyman. I haven't seen all the Valero fights though.
