    Round 2

DeMarco is throwing combos off the right jab, landing left crosses and right hooks on Tyner's head but unable to stave him off. Tyner is biding his time, letting DeMarco punch himself out and then sweeping in hooks when DeMarco pauses and backs up to create room. Tyner grins and shrugs as DeMarco lands a 3-punch combo on him, then loops in a right. Tyner keeps plowing in with the high guard and they lean together, exchanging smacks on the carcass.

10-9 DeMarco, very close, mostly on workrate but Tyner landed great shots.

    19-18 Tyner

    Round 3

DeMarco is flicking out right jabs in bunches and shifting to avoid Tyner's short clapping left-right hook combos when he takes his turn. Left uppercuts by DeMarco circling in close on Tyner. DeMarco paws with his right jab while backing out, making sure Tyner is out of range before swooping in with left and right uppercuts on the chest. DeMarco is landing some meaty right hooks on the body now at long beyond the range at which Tyner is able to compete. DeMarco is caught by a jab and claps his fists together, getting himself pumped. Right hook on the body by DeMarco.

    10-9 DeMarco

    28-28

DeMarco teeing off in the third. Tyner blew his wad.

    1: 10-8 Tyner
    2: 10-9 Tyner
    3: 10-9 DeMarco

Both the second and third rounds were close (I missed the first 30 seconds of round 3). One could argue for either depending on what they value.

Nope, should he be? Nothing but Mexicans in his corner.

Half the punches Tyner is throwing are of the pity pat variety which would make an ancient and nervous Shane Mosley even befuddled by the purpose of such. There seems to be no "setting up" about the punches. They are just little nickel and dime shots.

    Round 4

DeMarco is letting combinations go freely now, working from the outside but still falling in a bit and getting carried away with several blows at once, tempting fate even with his speed once he builds a head of steam. So far Tyner is unable to counter him with timing sharp enough to give him pause but Tyner is laughing off every combination, literally. Right hooks and left hands from outside by DeMarco. Finally a turn is taken by Tyner and he falls a bit short but grazes with some chops and hooks while DeMarco scoots out.

    10-9 DeMarco

    38-37 DeMarco

    Round 5

DeMarco is throwing combos on the body and circling to his left, flipping his elbows outward to catch Tyner's light dribbling of shots on the outer arms while passing by. DeMarco is digging hard right hooks on the body while Tyner struggles to get set. DeMarco backs away from the right jab of Tyner, now turned southpaw. DeMarco looks a bit confused by this strategy. Tyner is relishing this and laughs some more, but ultimately tires and backs into the ropes to rest. DeMarco moves in with right hooks and Tyner answers back with a left on the jaw after the bell! Chippy!

    10-9 DeMarco

    48-46 DeMarco

Fun fight so far, my opinion...

Action after the bell in that 5th, but both men pat each other on the ass and all is forgiven.

The beIn Sport commentator's unofficial scorecard has it knotted 47-47, giving Tyner the first two with the knockdown and DeMarco everything from 3 on.

    Round 6

DeMarco is circling and ducking the hooks of Tyner easily, to cheers from the crowd. DeMarco moves in and pops off straight flurries on the body, then circles on past or backs straight up with his long arms folded into a raised guard. Tyner is slashing with right hooks and looping lefts, southpaw again, but DeMarco gets his arms out in the way to disrupt.

    10-9 DeMarco

    58-55 DeMarco
