Soto and Demarco are related, Showtime reported they would not fight each other.

You would have to give Murray a decent chance of winning should they fight, hes got the style to give Demarco problems.

They should do Soto/Sanchez so we can see what Sanchez's face looks like after it's been hit with a truck ;)

On the Mosley-Mora undercard, against Escalante? No, that wasn't his last performance.

So you've seen all of three rounds of him lately.

My opinion is based on all four of Daniel's fights in 2010, not just one of them that didn't last three rounds. Trust me, his boxing has come a long way. He thoroughly outboxed the solid Cornelius Lock, even wider than the cards reflect.

He knew he could walk through Escalante and rip him apart, so he did. That doesn't change the fact that he is one of the most technically improved boxers in recent memory and can fall back on those skills when he needs to.

Man, Showtime is just crushing HBO this year. Slow train coming I guess.

Showtime is pumping some serious money into its sports programming. A healthy competition between them and HBO would be good for boxing and great for us.

Valero had skills. He was outboxing Demarco and before the fight nobody thought it could be possible. Ponce never had boxing skills to begin with. He's more polished now with straighter punches but it's still not very pretty at times.

Cool I hope he has gotten better, I like punchers. I will have to check out his recent fights. My biggest problem with him has always been his telegraphing lethargy - I hope it has receded because it sure was barbaric. At some of his older fights I thought it was almost a Maussa like conflation of flukish events that got him to the championship level, he just hits too hard for little guys. I am eager to see that he can bring his game to another level, because it is clear he can hurt anyone.

I've got Rios with very little confidence.

(How's that for hedging... pitiful I know.)

That christ propaganda on Acosta's forehead will be his downfall.
