    Round 4

Sanchez tries to come in behind his left jab but isn't able to touch DeMarco with it. DeMarco is scoring as much with left hand leads as with his right jab backing up. Sanchez increases his forward momentum and swings hard but takes a right hook across the face, just under the cut. DeMarco keeps catching Sanchez rushing in, looping his arms beneath his and spinning him around. Sanchez throws several uppercuts to the head and boy and pushes DeMarco into a corner but isn't able to firmly press the button and hurt him.

    40-36 DeMarco

How many rounds does DeMarco keep going with that decal falling off his trunks?

Anthony Peterson was a joke in the Rios fight, kept low blowing Rios over and over.

    Wasn't much of a fight.

Peterson couldn't punch for anything. I wonder how some guys with so little power decide to be professional boxers ... you know, I'm going to HIT guys with my FISTS for a living.

Rios has power and a sturdy chin but his conditioning in that particular fight was atrocious. Say what you will about late subbing, but if he is going to succeed on the world class level consistently he needs to keep in better shape. He was working in tony's camp, and he still looked to be really overweight.

    Round 5

Sanchez tries unsuccessfully to land from the outside as he applies his pressure and finally tries to just charge in and grab DeMarco, roughing him up. DeMarco is able to to protect his head, land punches, and physically overpower Sanchez to create space all at once - taking only a couple of uppercuts in the process. Sanchez follows and slowly jabs. Nice right hand by Sanchez, over the top after DeMarco had blocked a few jabs. DeMarco swats away jabs now and counters with his left, landing well to the head and body.

    50-45

Exactly. And this is the best opponent Rios has faced ! Peterson is not even good by domestic standards but is only good when compared to the rest of the poor athletes on Rios' resume.

Demarco and Sanchez producing a fight that is as dull as the interpreter's voice.

    Round 6

DeMarco opens with a strong 1-2 and then gets back to circling wide, dictating both range and pace. Sanchez body-feints and turns each shoulder in sequentially, trying to confuse DeMarco and open him up to land a jab and/or right hand but can't. DeMarco pushes Sanchez into a corner and lands a good 1-2 and then a right hook as Sanchez tries to fight him back. Sanchez starts whipping his right hand up and looping it around to the side of DeMarco's head from the hip, landing it well now. DeMarco covers up and lays against the ropes while Sanchez loops shots at him until he is warned for rabbit punches by Drakulich. Sanchez again goes down and it is again ruled a slip (although a short hook did land).

@ jeff, WHERE, ineffective Sanchez is the one pressuring Demarco.

I mean, I get the point of sitting on your punches but, this is ridiculous.

It is just as good, he defeated 25-0 WBA Champion Paulus Moses and 25-0 Prospect Urban Antillon (comparable to Peterson in terms of record)

It is not Acosta's record which makes me believe he will outpoint Rios, but his style and skills.
