Lopez will probably be the favorite here but Esparragoza has a serious shot. I can't help but remember how many right hands Bobby Chacon bounced off of Danny's head before putting him away and Antonio's was better. Esparragoza was longer, too.

    A totally dismantling.

I meant more for entertainment? Is this good or just a straight up beat down? I'll watch it either way, but if it's the latter, was Esparragoza in any great fights?

The Cruz fight is an action packed beatdown.

One sided, but Cruz fought back til the end.

It's the best display of Esparragoza's offensive skills, which were tremendous.

In any case, in this matchup I'd ultimately take Little Red.

Esparragoza had a great offense, but he was hittable. And his chin was NOT Sanchez-like.

I think he'd be ahead on the cards, but Lopez's power would eventually turn the tide.

    Lopez KO 10.

So I just watched Esparragoza vs Cruz, I liked what I saw. Fast, accurate hands, high workrate, good chin, fast feet and nice punch selection. His right hand was really sharp and definitely his stand-out punch, despite the left hook getting the KD. I liked his style, was really really fun. Thing is, he had a few issues which you can't let slide with Danny Lopez. Backing off in straight lines, being easy to hit and having to fight your way off the ropes is asking for trouble. After watching that, I was impressed but I get the feeling that Lopez is gonna catch up with him and KO him at some point or another. And he'd definitely do it over 15.

That speed, combinations and better adjustment at range means he'd be well up on points, but I don't think he wins.
