2 hard hitting Featherweight champs with very similar height and reach to go along with their power. Although Esparragoza was clearly the more consistent fighter out of the two Espinosa was quite dangerous when at his best, particularly when he wiped out Kennedy McKinney. Would a sharp Espinosa be able to find a way to beat Esparragoza?

I can find Espinosa finding Esparragoza's chin at some point, but I don't think he would really ko him, Esparragoza MD with some scary moments.

Not even close. Esparragoza was a top 5 fighter in the world during his prime. Espinosa was never on that level.

    Esparragoza KO 7.

He always had a cool mystique about him, but wouldn’t rate as a top p4p five. In a shootout with Espinoza though, his better chin would, as you say, see him to a kayo around 7.

Esparagoza, when in full flow, had an exceptional offensive arsenal imo. He also seemed to do just what was needed of him for the most part of his career, including against a nightmare iron chin opponent like Vilasana. I'd like him by mid round KO / TKO, as Xplosive suggested.

Ring Magazine would... and did, rate him top 5 P4P circa 89-90. Back when The Ring still meant something.
