Man, this guy kicks ass. My second favorite active fighter. What's not to love? A blood and guts warrior, a punching machine, a brawler with skill and an iron chin. A true 100% proffesional fighter. He's just straight badass. Loved the way he was hollering at Cintron to get up after that brutal body shot KO. His performance in the second Cintron fight was extremly impressive, especially considering how much mileage he has on him, being able to throw and land that many punches in just less than 6 rounds. Wow.

I've only seen four of his fights: his close loss to Williams (had he started faster like he's been doing since he would have won, no doubt in my mind), his brutal first round KO of Golden Johnson, and his two dominations of Cintron. (It should be noted that Cintron did much better in the second fight, went down legit, and showed a lot of heart till then, his mentality has definitly improved.) A fight with Cotto could wind up being the fight of the year. Cotto is younger, fresher and might hit harder, but Margs style is pure hell for anyone. I'm hoping for a Margarito victory.

I dig the Margo Machine as well, but if he wants a victory against Cotto. Margo better get full extension of that right, and keep his legs from coming together when he's firing shots. Those little technical flaws can be exploited by a skilled and intelligent fighter fighter like Cotto. Cotto will have hell, win or lose.

Yeah, man, that fight is going to be amazing. I've been wanting to see Cotto take on Marg since he fought Williams. Easily my most anticipated fight, I'm looking forward to it even more than Mosley-Judah, mostly because it's my 2nd and 3rd favorite active fighters (Mosely is No. 1), and two of the most brutal and punshing fighters in the weightclass. It's going to be an extravaganza of awesome! I think Margo has a good shot.

You've got that right, Margarito has the kind of style and assets to give any fighter pure hell. Power, granite chin, durabilty and toughness, and an absolutly astounding work rate.

But a poor sport. He couldn't shake Williams's hand after he lost. Poor sport.

At the time he genuinly felt he won the fight, he thought his title was unjustly taken away from him so I can understand his behavior, though a classier man might have sucked it up anway. Later on he admited that he saw why he lost.

He hasn't beaten any great fighters, but he has beaten some good and very good fighters. I'm not saying he's an all time great or a future HOFer, just that I dig his style and have a lot of respect for him.

Margarito is too big for the WW division.

i know he's not the only fighter that blows up after weigh-ins but he's a MW everytime he gets in the ring and thats the reason why i dont feel the same as some of yall.
