Margarito was made to look like a great boxer by the plodding Garcia.

At times margarito bounced on this toes, reminiscent of DLH:lol:

Garcia has never be KOed before and I don't think he has even been down before tonight. No point going all out trying to beat up a journeyman boxer when you have a potential megafight with Pacquiao just down the road.

Saw about 2/3rds of it. Margarito pretty much toyed with a tough Garcia, including engaging in all kind of hand gestures to mess with him.

Garcia was trying to play around with Margo, shaking his head like "you can't hurt me," etc. So Margo just clowned him back.

Margo looked solid, but you can see the ring rust and probably a little bit of age. Mostly it was rust. Margarito is fully back in the picture now and I expect that the push for him to be licensed again soon in the USA will be taken up shortly. There is money to be made with him.

For those who saw the fight...

Do you think he could have gotten the KO if he pressed for it?

Do you think he just wanted to get a good 12 rounds under his belt to shake off the rust?

he couldnt get the KO he tried, but Garcia took everything he threw at him and came back with his own shots and make margarito back up and get on his bicycle

It's hard to say cause Garcia had never been KO'd but my guess is he could have had he applied any pressure.

So I guess My answer to each question is Yes and Yes.

Did you even see the fight.

Did you catch Margarito's KD with a short hook. The power is obviously still there.

It looked like Margarito could have gotten the ko if he pushed for it. It seems like he just wanted to get some rounds in. He himself said it after the fight that the gameplan was to get some rounds in and not worry about the ko

The power is definitely still there though.
