The moment cotto tries to go toe to toe with margarito hewill get ko'ed,if margarito could break down a very solid boxer like clottey,i think margarito could handle cotto.Cotto's not a great inside fighter and whenever cotto tries to trade he leaves himself open, torres, mosley, urkal,n'dou, judah and the list goe's on and neither guy at this point is a tougher fighter than margarito.1 more thing, cotto is soft in the body,i seen him hurt to the body in almost every fight and margarito will break him down, mark my words.

Cotto is a dwarf compared to 5'11" Margarito. He'd be a fool to try to turn this into a toe-to-toe war. He will lose.

This is Margarito's chance to shine. Can he be competitive and maybe defeat Cotto?

His resume is poor, his best win if Kermit Cintron. This is his chance to become an elite level fight. We will see who Margarito really is.

(I think Cotto will beat him clearly.)

Bull****, the pressure is on Cotto's side of the battle. Miguel is tough and has the cojones to go tit for tat but don't expect Tony to believe in dat crap dat this is his last ticket to big money stardom fights... Tony has been here for the last 10 years! True he's the challenger or the less noticeable champ in this clash but he won't be fighting cautious... Miguel better be prepared cause a Tornado is coming from south of the border and he's taking it by storm, mothas!

    :yep

That press conference man. You can just look into his eyes and see he is loving this fight already.

In a battle of hooks and right hands you are absolutely correct. But in a battle of uppercuts the taller man has the edge. Better leverage and closer to the target than the smaller man. It's all about the uppercuts.

The Lujan fight is what they'll be looking at the most. A way to keep distance for the first few rounds and if they manage to hit Cotto with something devastating to jump on him and finish him right away. Tony had a LOT of success with the right hand and the uppercut when Lujan wasn't right on top of him. And I think as the rounds go on if that uppercut is landing with regularity it'll be the finishing blow.

Lujan had his moment because Tony started slow and wasn't prepared for Lujan bringing the fight to him. So I think with some adjustments Tony sits down on his punches early. That should establish some respect with Cotto. Once that is set in stone he has Cotto fighting on the backfoot and that puts Tony at a great advantage. That advantage being Cotto's power diminishes greatly when he's on the backfoot.

The key here is the uppercut. If that uppercut doesn't work then Cotto will have a decisive advantage inside. If the uppercut does work it'll be curtains for Cotto.

Completely agreed. This job should go to a ref like Kenny Bayless, Robert Byrd or Steve Smoger.
