Antonio Margarito: '' I always said i didn't like giving advantages to anybody. I think the fight with Cotto shouldn't have been stopped. I think my eye was much more swollen against Pacquiao. It was three times more swollen for that fight.

I went to a doctor and he told me my nerves still weren't very good and it would get inflamed so that's part of the reason I made the decision to retire''.

I thought he said he was willing to die in the ring. Sissy crying about an inflamed eye.

cotto detached that retina in their first fight...pac added to it....now the cheater is ruined.

no one deserves permanent damage....not even a cheater.

    Bill Collins.

Margarito's style of cheating can kill a man. Its poetic justice the ******* tries to kill Cotto and Mosley and then he ends up being the guy with the damage.

Yes, cheaters of Margartio's brand deserve it.

Don't hate him but definitely won't miss him. Pre Wrapgate he was worth talking about but after such debacle his skills declined big time. Nothing particularly special about him. There will be many more Mexican fighters like him (or better) to come along, namely Leo Santa Cruz.

Still letting everyone know who papi is. Most feared fighter in boxing. And lol @ the people trying to lynch him while they defend guys like Berto, Peterson, Tony, RJJ, Mosley, Tarver etc

He certainly didn't like giving anyone any advantages.:rofl:lol:
    I'll tell you,I don't give a **** what anyone thinks,I'll miss Margarito's antics.
Boxing's not brimming with characters and if you're gonna cheat,at least give people a laugh when it's all over. When did Berto or Peterson ever make you chuckle?
    Much suerte Toni.:yep
