ANTONIO MARGARITO, gym war. Despite what happened this guy was fun to watch

Watched that live. Mosley was booed during his ring walk. I just knew SSM was going to get destroyed, but when that happened, I was like F these fools. whoop that ass Sugar. I remember after the end of the 6th, some dude looked back at me and said this when Margarito steps it up. I just said we'll see. LOL

 

The gloves situation was all BS. Richardson was noted for complaining about opponents wraps but went a bit too far claiming he saw plaster blocks fall out of his wraps. No one else saw them. The CSAC just jumped the gun & suspended Tonys licence. When the pads were tested they were deemed HARMLESS by the lab. This meant the CSAC had no proof of anything illegal. They couldn't indict Tony as they'd been laughed out of court. So they , probably on lawyers advice, only refused to reinstate Tonys license as they SUSPECTED he'd tried to load his gloves .They took a mans career & tarnished his good name based on what turned out to not be true but what appeared to be a blatant LIE !!! If you remember Floyd did one of his Retiring acts when Tony beat the heck out of Cotto & he feared he may have to face him

 

The fact Mosely was juiced to the gills AGAIN!! in that debacle was OK then huh. Plus Tony had just been accused of that Plaster BS. I was at the Cotto fight Tony whupped his ass fair & square. Cotto never complained until this fiasco happened. That was his perfect excuse for losing but he still didn't call for a rematch until he knew Tony's eye was permanently damaged by Pacquaio. Tony was blind in that eye from round 2 yet Cotto STILL couldn't legitimately beat him he had to rely on the doc stopping the fight. Not to save Tony's eye but save Cotto QUITTING AGAIN !!! Banned for 3 years because the Commission SUSPECTED he'd tried to load his gloves . One of the worst black eyes ever for boxing.

 

drenlou hasn't got a clue . Mosely was booed because of his own PED's abuse. He is a PROVEN & Eventually a forced self confessed Ped's abuser. He swore he was only taking medication for allergies ROFL Claimed he'd taken 2 polygraphs proving his innocence . Fine till BALCO stepped forward with receipts for illegal drugs with his name & signature on them LOL I'll never forget his face when he realised he was caught !!!! It was like "Aww **** !!!! now I'm screwed " lol Ive tried everyone involved to show one iota of proof Margarito ever tried to load his gloves no one have come forward yet. The CSAC lawyers obviously told them not to accuse him of it but claim they SUSPECTED he MAY have tried to do it. That's all they confiscated his boxing license on for nearly 3 years The state commissions can do that they rule the sport & do not have to answer to anyone.. The obviously didn't care it ruined his career when they did it
They said the Mafia & Mob in the 50's was bad they got nothing on these guy

 

One of his sparring partners later came out and said he thought Margarito was loading up his gloves when he sparred against him.

He got shafted, accused of something that was never proven. He was the definition of a Warrior.

 

To be honest, this is just anecdotal evidence. Any guy accused of something like this is going to have some guys come out saying this just because he hit them hard in sparring.

 

This guy had actual facial structure damage.

 

He had pink wraps after the fight and he wore wraps in the very next fight and he never had power like that again.

Plasterito only got 1 eye now. Blessed

 

fun fighter. i like his in ring style. pressure cooker. uninterrupted aggression. cuteness free.

 

I used to be like these clowns hating on Margarito (who I previously loved and respected) and CJ educated me in these forums of the man's innocence in the situation
And for that I thank you yet again
