ANTONIO MARGARITO, gym war. Despite what happened this guy was fun to watch

Javier Capetillo admitted he had placed a used pad in Antonio's wrap accidently instead of a new one. If they were trying to cheat they failed badly because when it was tested it was declared harmless by the independent lab.lol The blatant lies that were told at the time by Naz Richardson & the CSAC Insp were never investigated either
As for trying to clear his name, what could Antonio do. The CSAC knew they had nothing to indict him on as they only had lies for evidence. The State Commissions rule the sport & control it & they knew if they tried to indict him they'd be laughed out of court. All they could do was suspend his licence to box in Ca because they SUSPECTED he may have tried to cheat. No one oversees the Commission they could do that. He was out of boxing for almost 3 years couldn't train or anything plus his good name was tarnished & career ruined.
What happened to the good 0ld US claim " A man is deemed innocent until he is proven guilty in a court of law" That NEVER applied here. they just declared him guilty
There is nothing that can be done about it now their wicked deed is done. What sort of people are they to destroy a good mane name & career rather than admit the made a faux pas in believing the lies OR Was there something more sinister behind it. The commissions have overlooked many boxers breaking the ped's rules as we all know especially the Cash Cow types so I wouldn't be at all surprised

 

Thats all it was, used gauze. For those that dont know, if you use the same gauze over and over again it will compress and hardens somewhat but not to a point where you cant bend it.
You're only supposed to bandage your hands with fresh gauze so technically its illegal to use in a fight, but saying that Margarito used plaster of paris in his handwraps is taking it way over the top.
Margarito and his trainer Javier Capetillo are guilty of using used gauze, its to bad the Callifornia Athletic Commission was so incompetent that they did'nt have a handle on it to get to the truth.

Later Floyd also asked the fans who he should fight next & he'd do it The fans chose Amir Khan in London, but instead Floyd fought a totally shot Andre Berto lol Then to claim it all he claimed fighting an MMA fighter Conor McGregor making his pro boxing debut as his 50 th win.
