    'Defense' has nothing to do with a fighters Chin. An Iron Chin can take punches whether they have defense or not. Your Chin is the second line of defense in a fight.

    Exactly! Good chin but not Elite guys like McCall, PBF, Kid Gavilan LaMotta, Hagler have ATG iron chins while Margo doesn't he was stopped.

    He did have a granite beard. The amount of flush power shots he absorbed of Mosley was ridiculous.

    Suffering a Ko loss shouldn't dismiss you from having an elite chin. Margarito's chin was certainly excellent. I doubt it was the best in the history of the division but it was among the best of his era's crop of welters.
