What's even worse, in my view, is all those who assume - with literally NO evidence - that Margarito somehow "cheated" in his other major fights. The Cotto fight is a prime example of this. Cotto got his ass kicked by Margarito, pure and simple. There is no evidence that anything other than Margarito's superiority in that fight accounted for his victory. None. It's like all the idiots who make steroid accusations against fighters with NO tests to prove it. All of this is nothing more than an exercise in using rumor and innuendo to promote false accusations.
Do you know what this powder compound was? And how much of it he had on his pads? I still haven't seen any proof of the substance that was on the pads :think
Where the Hell was his signature relentless wear you down power shots when he faced Mosley'...? Why did it mysteriously disappear...?
Just look up "Antonio Margarito" and "California Department of Justice lab test results" Then you will find a sea of articles explaining that Margarito was suspended due directly to the findings of the California State Lab forensics findings that the ingredients for Plaster of Paris was found. You Margarito supporters are simply either brain dead or lowlife scum of the earth types.
" although there was so little of it(traces of plaster components), that whatever was in the gloves would have been granules of sand at best- covered by the regular wraps and gloves." There's enough evidence to suggest that Margarito could have been railroaded. You Margarito haters are no different than those who blindly support him.:deal
Plaster is probably the worst substance to load gloves with. It would have to set first and then it would disintigrate into powder with the fist jab. You would see puffs of powder after every punch.
http://caselaw.findlaw.com/ca-court-of-appeal/1541145.html Just do a search for the word plaster. There are 3 hits for the word plaster in the article. The commission never proved it was plaster, they just said the pads had a plaster like substance on them. I would like to know exactly what that means. Either way, the pads were tampered with and therefore Margarito was suspended.
You're one of those Margarito-hating morons that only reads what he wants to believe. Ask Pac if Margarito's power "mysteriously disappeared". Cotto(after the 2nd fight). "No differences in his power, it felt the same":deal
Margarito walked into the ring. Possibly had concrete wrapped in his gloves. And then started clubbing the **** out of people. Damn. It doesn't get more G than that. And I don't even think he used plaster. Just the fact that people thought he was showed how tough and relentless he was.
It means it's not plaster until the water is added. In this case, the water would come from Margarito's sweat which would develop after a few rounds and then being to harden around the middle of the fight. This perfectly coincides with when he would typically come on, after the plaster hardened. And the only little girl being talked about is Margarito ..your hero.
If that's what it was then they would just said it was plaster. If all the substance needed was water then it was basically plaster but they never said anything about the substance turning into plaster, you came up with that. And I don't care about Margarito. I stopped being a fan because of this very incident. However, I don't think he used plaster but did try breaking the rules by using an illegal pad that I still don't know what it had on it. I think it's funny Mayweather fanboys sh*t on Margarito just because he made Mayweather **** his pants.
