Slap yourself bias fan. He clearly lost that fight. Castillo threw more landed more with the higher percentage. How did Mayweather win that fight? :deal
What do you mean overrated? If you rate him as a top6 to 10 P4P-er and say that he's the strongest candidate for FOTY so far, you rate him correctly. If you think that he'd beat Mayweather just because Cotto got tired and can be hurt anyway, you are overrating him. Cotto has nothing to do when you make a Mayweather-Margarito prediction. If you're stating that Margo is not a P4P-er, lucky to get a win over Cotto the quitter, and every fighter with a jab and stamina will kick his a**, you're clearly underrating him.
If floyd has proven himself then so has Tony....they've taken different paths and have different careers but both are or were world champions. So they are either both over rated or they are both not.
True......but the style floyd embodies isn't really what one would call "FIGHTING".....Floyd "BOXES" which is fine, but the boxers who are most popular or most well received and beloved are those who can box and brawl. or just brawl and put their heart and dertemination out on front street. I can't knock floyd for not wanting to take Risks b/c it's his life, but could you imagine the world of boxing if they all thought and faught like Floyd Mayweather? we'd have a very boring sport on our hands. Not that we don't see "FLASHES" of brillance in floyds game, but as fans we don't want to be entertained for 10 or 20 seconds each round in a 12 round fight with 3 min rounds....ya dig?
to bad that coward mayweather dont think hes overrated or he would have taken the $8 million to fight this mexican bad ass.
He is getting way too much credit here for beating a much smaller fighter in Cotto. I will have to see what happens in a Wiliams rematch I think Williams beats him easy again.
